How it works

From application to activation

Six steps take a courier or phlebotomist from a short online application to accepting eligible assignments in the FirstCare app. Equipment ordering opens only after preliminary approval, and purchasing equipment never implies guaranteed approval or assignments.

  1. 1

    Create your profile

Contact information, location, experience and preferred service area. Choose Courier, Phlebotomist or both.

  2. 2

    Submit your documents

Role-specific credentials, vehicle details and applicable insurance, uploaded inside secure onboarding.

  3. 3

    Complete screening

Background screening for everyone, plus a driving-record check for couriers and for phlebotomists who transport specimens.

  4. 4

    Prepare your equipment

After preliminary approval, order the appropriate kit or submit existing equipment for verification. Centrifuges only where required for the assigned work.

  5. 5

    Set up the app

Complete partner agreements, payment setup, onboarding modules and readiness checks.

  6. 6

    Get activated

Approved partners can view and accept eligible opportunities in their area.

Equipment, costs and returns

Kit ordering opens after preliminary approval. Costs and return terms are shown clearly before you order. Existing equipment can be submitted for verification instead. Purchasing equipment does not imply approval and does not guarantee assignments.

Timing depends on screening turnaround and document completeness. We do not offer instant approval.

  • Courier transport kit: insulated container, temperature packs and seals
  • Phlebotomy kit: collection supplies, sharps container, PPE and specimen bags
  • Centrifuge: only for assignments whose laboratory protocol requires processing before transport
  • Return terms: unused kits returned within the stated window are refunded per the terms shown at ordering
